The OUSW(I&S):

Principal Staff Assistant and Advisor to the Secretary of War and the Deputy Secretary of War on intelligence, counterintelligence, security, sensitive activities, and other intelligence-related matters.

Exercises the Secretary of War’s authority, direction, and control over the War Agencies and Field Activities that are intelligence, counterintelligence, or security components.

Exercises planning, policy, and strategic oversight over all DoW intelligence, counterintelligence, and security policy, plans, and programs.

HON Bradley Hansell is the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (USW(I&S)).

HON Justin Overbaugh is the Deputy Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (DUSW(I&S)).
